The project was executed in two phases to ensure a smooth transition. In the first phase, the In2IT Team initially implemented and rolled out IP RAN, including the core router, at 14 locations. This established a solid foundation and allowed for addressing potential issues on a smaller scale.
In the second phase, the team expanded the IP RAN core network to all 300 locations across 71 cities in South Africa. This ensured that the entire network was interconnected and functioning optimally, meeting the client’s requirements for extensive geographic coverage. The phased approach allowed for meticulous planning, thorough testing, and gradual scaling, ensuring the project’s success and meeting the client’s needs.
